about me

Hello!

I’m a somatic therapist and a doula. Over the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of working closely with mothers during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, providing care and guidance during these transformative times.
My journey into somatic psychotherapy was inspired by my work with pregnant women and their babies. Each client brings a unique story, and I’ve learned that the experiences of childbirth and motherhood are deeply intertwined with our emotions, not only from current experiences but also the unexpressed emotions stored in our physical bodies.
Witnessing births first-hand, I realized how our unconscious emotions are carried in our muscles, fascia, and nervous system, and how they manifest in our lives. This profound understanding led me to pursue somatic psychotherapy studies at the Danish school of Bodynamic psychotherapy. Now, alongside birth support, psychotherapy has become my true calling.
In addition to my work as a somatic therapist, I have extensive business experience from the corporate world. Having worked in a multinational oil company for approximately two decades, I have developed a deep appreciation for the challenges many of us face in balancing work and parenthood, while pursuing our dreams and trying to find time for rest and growth. Therefore, I’m able to meet my clients from an authentic place of having walked the path from a stressed and overwhelming lifestyle to a balanced and fulfilled lifestyle.
For the past 18 years, I’ve called Stavanger, Norway, my home, where I live with my family and run my psychotherapy practice.
I offer my services in English, Polish, and Norwegian, and I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
